Crop Rotation and Succession
Crop succession methods are a great way to maximize the use of your vegetable garden. Planing each area carefully will help get the highest yields.
Some helpful tips. Plant radish, and lettuce and other cold weather crops that mature early in areas that will be used for warm
weather crops later in the season. In other areas that grow say peas, plant beans or carrots after the peas mature. In the fall when the peppers and other warm weather crops are done, plant more cold weather greens.
I like to add manure before each planting. This helps keep the soil fertile. Also weed carefully and do not turn the area over to a depth greater than 2" or you will bring up new weed seeds from underneath the soil.
