Snowdrops or Galanthus nivalis are one of the first bulbs to bloom in early spring. These bulbs can push up through the melting snow and provide a much needed boost to the winter weary.
Galanthus like to have sun or pt. sun. However, you can plant them under trees that loose t
heir leaves in winter. There will be enough sunshine before the trees are in full leaf.
Galanthus are hardy in zones 3-7 and will form wonderful clumps. They like well drained soil and will naturalize over time.
