Identifying Tomato Diseases
Tomato diseases can ruin a potential crop very quickly. One of the best ways to prevent diseases from hurting plants is to know what to look for and then treat appropriately.
There are several types of diseases that affect tomatoes and some plants can have multiple diseases at the s
ame time. It is a good idea to buy plants that are disease resistant if you have had problems in the past. Heirloom tomatoes can often have problems as they have not had any of the newer protections bred into them.
I like to use organic products on my tomatoes to prevent disease. Look for products like Seranade which does a nice job on many fungus issues that can attack plants.
