Foundation plantings along the outside of a home are probably the most common plantings in the country. Choosing the right plants for this location is critical. In this video, we notice that part of the foundation is made of stone. If you have a foundation that is very low, or attractive you might think about not covering it up with large plants. In this video we look at some smaller shrubs for the foundation that are wonderful choices for those homes with low or stone foundations.
Here is a partial list of plants used in this video.
- Chamaecyparis nana gracilis
- Ilex crenata 'Dwarf Pagoda'
- Azalea 'Ribbon Candy'
- Ilex Cornuta Rotunda
