il you have will dictate the watering amount. For the first few weeks I tend to water very sparingly and just enough to slightly moisten the soil. After a few weeks I start to water more until I see some new growth on the plants. At this point you can begin to get closer to a more normal watering schedule. However, it is very important at no time the soil be wet or the new roots will rot. Plants need to be able to use the water you give them and too much water will just sit and not be used.
